PRIZE DRAWING
Conference participants will receive tickets to run for two great prizes. One prize, a beautiful Brazilian gem stone pendent, offered by H. Stern, will be drawned at the ICDE 22 Closing Ceremony. The other, a brand new Video Ipod, offered by Elluminate, partner of Telemar Institute and The School of the Future of the University of São Paulo, at the ICDE Book Launching Cocktail .
We are very proud to have H. Stern, the most prestigious jeweler in Brazil, present in 21 countries around the world, as a partner. H. Stern will give out, only for the ones present at the ceremony, a charming gem stone pendent.
The ICDE Book Launching will take place on the evening of September 05th, at the Marimbas Club, located right across from the Sofitel Hotel. The Cocktail will also be the launching of the Web Conferencing and Collaboration Software to Power Online Learning Initiative for Primary Schools Project. On the occasion, a brand new video Ipod, the new generation of Ipods, will be drawned to another participant by Elluminate, the leading provider of live Web conferencing and eLearning solutions for the real-time organization.

PLATAFORMA
The Plataforma Show will give you a general overview of Brazilian music, dance and folklore. Beautiful “mulata-dancers” together with male dancers take a culture journey on the popular music of Brazil, with a lot of African percussion, Samba, Capoeira (a mixture or martial arts and dance) and the grand finale with a parade showing the luxurious carnival costumes.
Date: Monday, September 4th.
Tickets: U$50,00 per person. Includes the show only.

PORCÃO RIO’S
The most traditional steak house of Rio de Janeiro. Besides a variety of 30 different assortment of the finest meat, the restaurant keeps a buffet of unbeatable salads as well as hot dishes. Located in Flamengo, with an astonishing landscape which opens to the Guanabara Bay close to the Sugar Loaf Hills, it is certainly a wonderful place to enjoy dinner in Rio.
Date: Tuesday, September 5th.
Cost: U$60,00 per person. Includes all you can eat buffet of salads and meat rodizio, dessert, soft drinks, beer and caipirinhas.
Time: 20:20 PM. The 1st bus will be leaving at 20:15 PM. Please be at the lobby of the Sofitel Hotel at 20:15 PM. There will transfers back to Sofitel Hotel at the end of dinner.

GUANABARA BAY BOAT TOUR
A two-hour tour, providing a unique viewpoint of the city and Niteroi Island. You will enjoy a breeze afternoon in Rio de Janeiro departing from Gloria Marina. Sip a cool drink from the bar and view the breathtaking sights of Rio de Janeiro for yourself. A relaxing way to enjoy your afternoon at the end of the Conference.
Date: Wednesday, September 6th.
Tickets: U$30,00 per person. Includes a two-hour boat tour, dry snacks, fruts, soft drinks, beer and caipirinhas.
Time: 04:00 PM. Please be at the lobby of the Sofitel Hotel at 03:30 PM. There will transfers back to Sofitel Hotel at the end of the tour.
