Education:

Alexander Romiszowski Having first trained as an engineer, followed by graduate studies in management and education, his approach to the field is practical, results-oriented and systemic. He was one of the pioneers in the application of systems thinking and the systems approach to education

Present Position:
 
He is currently a Research Professor in the area of Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation at Syracuse University, a director of the university s Training Systems Institute, director of TTS Global Educational Consultants - and a Contributing Editor to several journals and magazines.

 

Professional experience:

He has worked in the field of Educational Technology, as researcher, teacher, author and practitioner, for over 40 years -in the United Kingdom and other European countries, in Brazil and other developing countries, and more recently in the USA and cyberspace. Dr. Romiszowski has been a faculty member at Middlesex University in the UK, the Federal University of Bahia in Brazil, Concordia University in Canada and Syracuse University, USA, in addition to periods as visiting professor in institutions located in every continent. He has also spent periods as consultant and manger of major educational innovation projects for international agencies, national governments and private sector organizations, in some 30 different countries.

Production:
 
His major books - a trilogy on Designing, Developing and Producing Instructional Systems, published through the 1980 s in the UK, and Instructional Development Paradigms, published in 1997 by Educational Technology Publications - demonstrate this approach both in their content and in the overall structure of the books themselves.
